RetroModded is an independent brand operated by Stellar Ark Limited, focused on restoring, refurbishing, and modifying classic electronics for modern everyday use.

RetroModded was created for customers who value the design, usability, and character of classic electronics. Our goal is to preserve what made these products special while updating them for more practical use today.

Our goal is to make classic products practical again through restored, refurbished, and modified electronics that combine familiar design with updated functionality.

Depending on the product, our work may include restoration of original hardware, storage upgrades, battery replacement, USB-C upgrades, Bluetooth upgrades, cosmetic refurbishment, and other clearly disclosed modifications described on the relevant product page. Where applicable, restoration, refurbishment, assembly, and testing are performed in our Hong Kong workshop before shipment.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, products sold by RetroModded are not new factory-original products. We aim to describe our products clearly so customers can understand what is original, what has been replaced, and what has been modified before placing an order.

How We Work

We primarily serve customers in the United States and other supported markets. Many items are built to order, modified to order, or prepared in small batches. Most orders are assembled and tested after an order is placed, based on the selected configuration. Because many items are prepared based on the selected order configuration, order changes, cancellations, returns, and warranty handling are subject to the relevant policy pages. Processing times vary depending on the product type, selected configuration, and current workload. We provide support before and after delivery. Because many products are custom-built and may be shipped to customers internationally, support may include remote diagnosis, troubleshooting guidance, replacement parts, repair, return, or other appropriate solutions depending on the issue.
