Shipping Policy
Many RetroModded products are built to order, modified to order, or prepared in small batches. These products are not standard ready-to-ship warehouse inventory. Please review this page carefully before placing your order, as build time and shipping time are separate.
1. Build & Processing Time
Lead times depend on the product and selected modifications.

Lead times begin on the date payment is confirmed, not on the date the order is placed.
Shipping transit times are separate from build times.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Orders placed on weekends or during scheduled workshop closure periods begin processing on the next business day.
During high-demand periods, holiday seasons, product launches, or temporary workshop closures, processing times may be longer. If there is a significant delay, we will notify you by email or post an announcement on the website.
Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, custom build work, assembly, testing, and dispatch are generally handled from our Hong Kong workshop.
2. Temporary Closures and Holiday Periods
From time to time, our workshop may pause or temporarily stop accepting custom orders during holidays, scheduled breaks, or other operational periods.
If this happens, we will place a notice or banner on the website homepage. During these periods, new custom orders may not be accepted, or production may not begin until operations resume.
Once our workshop reopens, orders will be reviewed and scheduled as soon as possible in the order they were received, subject to product type, selected configuration, and current workload.
3. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to the contiguous United States (48 states + Washington, D.C.), Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the European Union, and selected other international destinations where carrier service is available.
We do not currently ship to U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, or American Samoa.

4. U.S. Shipping Rates & Transit Times
Transit time estimates begin only after your order has been built and dispatched. Transit times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Carrier and service level may vary depending on destination and package requirements.

Free standard shipping on orders $99.00 and up applies only to the contiguous United States (48 states + Washington, D.C.).
For Alaska and Hawaii, a flat rate of $24.99 applies to orders under $99.00, and a reduced flat rate of $15.00 applies to orders $99.00 and up.
Final shipping costs are shown at checkout.
Carrier delays, weather events, high-volume periods, customs processing, and other factors outside our control may affect delivery times.
5. International Shipping
International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, package dimensions, and available service levels.
Transit times for international orders vary by destination and carrier and are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.
Rates may include carrier surcharges, such as fuel or remote area fees, where applicable.
In limited cases, DHL or another courier-based shipping option may be available for selected destinations. These options are typically more expensive than our standard shipping method and may not be suitable for every order.
If you would prefer DHL or another courier-based shipping method, please contact support@retromodded.com as soon as possible after placing your order so we can review availability before dispatch where possible.
If such an upgrade is available, any additional shipping charge will be quoted to you in advance and will only be applied if you agree to it. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, orders will generally be shipped using our standard shipping method selected at checkout.
We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes for most international orders, as many courier services do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
6. Order Tracking
Every order includes tracking where available. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving tracking information for carrier systems to reflect movement. If tracking has not updated after 1 business day, please contact us.
7. Customs, Duties & Taxes
For orders shipped outside the United States, import duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage charges, and similar destination-country charges are the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.
We are legally required to declare the full value of the shipment on customs documentation. We do not mark orders as gifts or undervalue shipments.
8. Delivery Issues
If your package has not arrived after the expected delivery window, is marked as delivered but not received, or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Where possible, we recommend contacting us no later than 30 days after the shipping date for domestic shipments or 45 days after the shipping date for international shipments for lost-package or non-delivery claims. Claims reported after these windows may be limited depending on carrier policies.
For shipping damage claims, please provide clear photos of the packaging and product as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. Where possible, we recommend providing this within 5 days of delivery so we can assist efficiently. Claims reported later may still be reviewed, but available resolutions may be affected by carrier claim limits or the availability of supporting evidence.

If a package is confirmed lost by the carrier, or if a verified shipping issue occurs, we will provide an appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances. This may include replacement, reshipment, store credit, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the nature of the issue and what is reasonably practical.
9. Order Changes and Cancellations
If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it.
If build work, configuration work, sourcing, or product preparation has not yet started, we will generally try to accommodate reasonable change or cancellation requests.
Once build work, configuration work, sourcing, or product preparation has started, changes or cancellations may be limited or unavailable because many products are made to order or modified to order.
Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped. After shipment, any eligible support, return, refund, or warranty handling will be governed by our Return, Refund & Warranty Policy.
10. Support
Because many products are custom-built or modified to order, after-sales support may include remote diagnosis, troubleshooting guidance, replacement parts, repair, return, or other practical solutions depending on the issue.
